Finding Your Success Formula

When I started my business, I had all sorts of ideas about what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it.

Having come from a background in financial services I started out focusing on helping firms with their financial promotions marketing and it worked…but something still didn’t feel right about what I was doing.

So, by chance gained a new client from a completely different industry and decided that because marketing was subjective only by industry but the tactics where applicable across the board, I could use my experience in this way too.

So, I changed my business name and got more clients in various industries.

But, something still didn’t feel right!

In my former employed life, tactical marketing wasn’t really what I focused on. Don’t get me wrong, I knew what the tactics were, how they worked and how to apply them, but I wasn’t generally involved in the full and practical application of them as this was left to the individual avisers - I gave them the support, training and advice they needed to promote themselves.

What I did and really enjoyed was strategy, consulting on projects and content development – I love to write.

So, again…my focus has developed and changed in order for me to fulfil what I feel is my true purpose and now I know I am in the right place because it feels right. That along with the reactions I receive when I speak and when I work with clients now, also tells me that I am in the right place.

Life is always about self-development and progression, we are here to teach but we are also here to learn. We are here to find out exactly what form our purpose of serving each other should take.

No doubt there will be other opportunities that arise to help me fine tune my formula and build my success even more and that’s great. The most important thing I take from what I have learned over the years is that I know that I had to go through this progression in order to appreciate where I am now and to know what is right for me and those I serve.

To share my knowledge and experience and do my part in helping with their progress and improvement.

Keeping an open mind on what you need to do and knowing what you don’t want will allow you to find your develop your formula and learn how to become the person you are destined to be.

There are many successful professionals out there offering advice on how to become successful and use their formula and this is great if it works for you.

However, if it doesn't just know that there may be something much higher going on that you need to address. I don’t think there is a one size fits all solution to anything in life, in my opinion success is innate, it’s instinctive and it’s personal to each and everyone of us.

Learning from other people is what we need to do, but ultimately, when it comes right down to it, it’s about what feels right to you.

That is the only time that you can truly take something on board, feel good about it and express the highest energy output to attract the success you are searching for and that’s what your audience will be attracted to about you.

You will become inspiring, motivating, confident and successful because you forged your own path. You will find that place of clarity, excitement and joy in what you do every day. Then and only then have you found YOUR formula.
